Greetings and welcome to The Marist Club (PN) Incorporated
The Marist Club (PN) Inc is an amalgam of sporting codes. It is more commonly known as the Marist Sports Club or referred to as Marist Sports. Currently, Marist Sports embraces seven mainstream codes and has an association with another one. They are:

  • Cricket
  • Cycling
  • Hockey
  • Netball
  • Rugby
  • Soccer
  • Tennis
  • Association with Squash.

The club is active throughout the year in its various competitions and events and is widely accepted as a club for all seasons. Marist Sports is administered by a Board of Directors that provides the policy and professional guidance required to support each code. Its goals are as follows:

  • Develop and maintain an outstanding Marist sports environment and structure
  • Identify and implement financial growth strategies to improve the club's position
  • Contribute to the creation and use of smart communication networks for members, sponsors and supporters
  • Reinforce code administration through recruitment and training of volunteers
  • Maximise opportunities to enhance the strength, performance and support of each code
  • Capitalize on our multi-sport and smokefree status to raise the club's profile in the community
  • Encourage intercode synergy.

In addition to its goals, the Board has published a Charter which sets out "the commitments that Marist Sports makes to everyone". It states:

  1. We will ensure an environment conducive to the physical and social well-being of our members
  2. We will help all players reach their potential in personal development and in their chosen sport
  3. We will promote fellowship and goodwill in a christian spirit of unity
  4. We will provide, maintain and manage facilities and opportunities for sporting and social purposes
  5. We will support our players in respectful ways
  6. We will honour and celebrate our historical origins and contributors to the club over the years
  7. We will welcome as our guests and show hospitality to other clubs and the community
  8. We will encourage cultural activities and appropriate entertainment for our members and supporters to enjoy
  9. We will seek to advance club growth and adopt modern practices to continuously improve our performance and management
  10. We will accept applications for membership from all walks of life without discrimination
  11. We will recognize our host responsibility under the Sale of Liquor Act and adopt practices designed to assure individual respect and safety.

In terms of its policy and operating procedures, the club has its Constitution and has published Policies and Codes of Practice for code reference. They cover the following topics:

  • Club and Individual Code Affiliations
  • Dress, Gear, Logos, Advertising and Letterheads
  • Funding from Grants and Sponsorship
  • Financial Management
  • Marist Sports Scholarship Fund
  • Smokefree Marist
